My name is Daniel Cox and I am a tennis coach and theatre teaching artist. I've been playing tennis my whole life and even played at the college level (NCAA Division II). I've coached for years with Ryan Reeves Tennis Training, IMG Academy, and even given lessons of my own. I'm very experienced teaching beginners and honing the skills of advanced players, but I also think its very important to have fun on the tennis court to instill a love for the sport in my students. I've run group clinics as well as given individualized private lessons.

I also have a big passion for theatre. I have a deep love for musicals. I've taught classes on song analysis and songwriting before with the National Student Leadership Conference at Columbia University. I just moved to New York after being accepted as a lyricist into the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop (a Tony Award-winning program that has produced many of the most distinguished musical theatre practitioners of the past 50 years including Alan Menken whose works include The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Hercules, Pocahontas, Aladdin, and Tangled, as well as Robert Lopez & Kristen-Anderson Lopez who together wrote the songs for Frozen and Coco. My latest role was Larry the Lobster in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical. I'm a goofy song and dance man that always keeps his tap dancing shoes in the car. I've taken tap, jazz, and ballet. I'm also a National Quarterfinalist in collegiate forensics (public speaking and performance) and have worked as an instructor for both monologue pieces and speeches.
