I am a Latinx multi-hyphenate artist and am passionate about the art of storytelling and hands on creating! I have 3+ years of experience as a Teaching Artist and 4+ years in Special Education. I teach many mediums and modalities of art: music & movement, voice, drama, piano, and playwriting. The universal theme that I impart on all of my students is that, above all else, they are storytellers and that the stories they have to tell matter. I take special care to encourage their unique, out of the box, and experimental ideas so that they grow confidence in making art that reflects how they see the world. Through this teaching and mentoring approach, my students have felt safe to explore their artistry and their growth throughout the years has been exponential.
