I am a Manhattan based teaching artist with six years of teaching experience, two degrees in theatre education and experience acting in an Off Broadway production. I teach many different kinds of theatre classes for all ages including Acting, Directing, Playwriting, Musical Theatre, Technical Theatre (costumes, stagecraft, lighting, sound, etc..) Dramatic Literature, and Theatre History. I am also certified in Mental Health First Aid and teach mental health education classes. When I am not acting or teaching, I like to attend live theatre performances. My current favorite is Parade starring Ben Platt and Micaela Diamond. I have a BA in Theatre Arts from Furman University and an MA in Educational Theatre for Colleges and Communities from NYU Steinhardt. I completed a physical theatre intensive at the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy and studied one person shows under famed theatre theorist Anna Deveare Smith.
