Angelica Torres is a Mexican/American producer & director with over 25 years of experience producing musicals and live productions on stage. Her career began in Mexico where she grew up training ballet and jazz, then went on to win several national dance championships. She adapted and produced Broadway musicals in Spanish while also creating a program for underprivileged children and families to attend her productions and experience live theater. In 1998 she moved to the US and developed a musical theater program (Triple Threat) in Westchester, NY for the Village of Mamaroneck. Soon after, she started her own theater company, “Broadway Musical Theatre” in Miami, FL, where she produced, directed and choreographed over 40 musicals over the course of 15 years, including regional premieres, and a pilot for Disney Jr.

Angelica is also a producer for TV and film, managing music content for several Youtube channels including one with over 1.2 billion views in music. Two of her latest works include a sitcom TV series currently on air via Comcast. She developed the idea, supervised the script, produced and directed two seasons (26 episodes) and most recently finished a musical mini series SORRY TO FUTURE ME, which she produced.
Angelica has received many awards and recognition for her support to the arts in the community in Mexico, NY and Florida.
