Hello! I'm Noah, an expert in all things comedy. But most people call me Noah. With an extensive background in improv, theatre, sketch comedy, sports, music, and eating all my vegetables, I have nurtured a passion for performing and furthermore, teaching.
Throughout my career I've coached children of all ages and experience in various forms of performance finding that the area kids have the most fun in, is improv. And while playing Zip-Zap-Zop for three hours is all well and good, I prefer to take it to the next level.
In my class, students can expect to start out playing fun games and from there we will build upon the collaboration skills honed by working closely with peers, eventually turning improv into a fully devised sketch show! That's right, your child is going to be the next Bill Murray.
My goal is for the students to walk away having created something entirely by them. Having one's own ideas incorporated into a larger picture is not only a major confidence booster, but a chance to get to know oneself a little better within the context of a group. I hope that by the end of the class everyone feels like their ideas are good ideas, even the silly ones.
