Hello, I am a first generation Mexican American artist, dancer, and tutor living in New York, raised in Juarez, Mexico. I recently relocated here from Los Angeles for an opportunity with the Merce Cunningham Trust. I went to school to California Institute of the Arts for a BFA in Dance and graduated in 2022.
I have worked as a tutor and teacher for over 3 years of my life, teaching Dance, acrobatics, English, and Pure Barre. I have taught kids from 5 years old in a classroom, to a fitness class full of grown ups. I have also worked in various customer service experiences and within the arts such as a studio manager of a dance space in Los Angeles, administrative assistant, among others.
I am looking for opportunities to expand my experience in working with kids through sharing my passions with them! I have had a beautiful time tutoring in the past, as an ELA tutor, and I would love to continue.
