My name is Shara Yarde I’ve been teaching in NYC’s public and private institutions for over 15yrs. I Enjoy teaching all levels and genres of dance, while also teaching students how the Arts allows them to express themselves and emotions, that help build tools that help them with everyday life. I enjoy being around great energy and people educators who are able to work with students to achieve their best.

I have worked in school in all Burroughs of NYC, creating performances, teaching dance to children of all ages from UPK-12 grade. Training in Ballet, HipHop, Modern Dance, Dance history.

High energy, always laughing love telling jokes and making people feel good about themselves. I’m colorful and uplifting, But I demand structure and stability in my class room. I hold a great balance of professionalism and a Child like innocence that connects with students. I stopped teaching after the pandemic, and it had truly left a space in my heart. I miss the classroom and students.
