Mary Binninger is a bisexual writer from NYC. She is proficient and well-versed in genres of fiction and poetry. She is a recent graduate from SUNY Purchase College, with a BA in Creative Writing. She has participated in an abundance of writing workshops throughout college including a wide range of genres, such as fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, and experimental essays. In high school she attended different after school and summer writing workshops to further and develop her skills and craft.
Mary has continued on to even lead workshops of her own at some of these programs, as well as having worked as a writing tutor at Purchase College's Learning Center. She currently works as a lead teacher at a local art studio catered towards elementary school children, and frequently leads arts and craft related after school classes at various public and private schools in the area.

Mary has also had poems previously published in literary magazines including SUNY Purchase's student-run publications Submissions Magazine and Gutter Mag, in addition to being published with Empyrean Literary Magazine, Poet’s Choice’s imprint Free Spirit, Crystal Crush Mag, and Hey Young Writer. During her senior year at Purchase, she served as the Editor-in-Chief for Submissions Magazine.
