Lin Snider (AEA, SAG-AFTRA, SDC) Lin has performed in cabaret, TV, film and onstage in regional theaters, Off-Broadway and in the National Tour of ​ANYTHING GOES​ with Mitzi Gaynor. She can be seen on Youtube in the limited series, UNTOLD GENIUS and is now performing in NYC in a new comedy, MEM-NOIRES. As a director, musical director and teacher she has worked at, among others, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYU, SUNY Purchase, and with several children's theater and professional acting companies, also until recently being the Artistic Director of the Out of the Box Theatre Company, a professional theater company in Manhattan. She was on the faculty of Yeshiva College from 2006 - 2020 where she directed 26 full productions. Her first children’s musical, CHANGE REACTION, has had several productions and her second one, HEARTSONG, had its first reading at the Phoenicia Playhouse in the Catskills in 2023 and is scheduled to have its first full production at the Antrim Playhouse in Tappan, NY, in August 2025! She just completed her fourth summer working as a director with the Actors Theatre Playhouse in West Chesterfield, New Hampshire. MSW - Columbia University. MFA - Theater - Brooklyn College. She loves working with children to help them find new creative forces within themselves and to open themselves to being responsive to and supportive of those sharing the ensemble work of the theater with them.
