Keaton Eckhoff began his professional career as a singer at the young age of 17 working for theme parks. While performing at theme parks as a singer was a great start; it wasn't enough for Keaton. He wanted to learn more. Two years later he picked up the guitar, a loop pedal, and began gigging with his own original music and covers at bars and pubs.

This led to auditioning for musicals and shows, working in regional theatres in the US and in NYC. His career eventually led to touring the United States as the leading role of Buddy in Buddy:the Buddy Holly Story from 2019-2021. Along the way Keaton picked up not only acoustic guitar, but began to shred the electric as well. Keaton most recently got off of the International Tour of the Sound of Music as the Dance Captain and Swing. He learned from some of the Industries best directors who have both starred in, and directed Broadway Shows.

All the while, when he wasn't onstage performing, he was studying at the award winning Pickup music academy for 4 years this is where Keaton really took his guitar playing to the next level. He's been teaching voice and guitar for 6 years and his styles consist of pop, jazz, blues, rock, soul, neo soul, country, folk, opera and singer songwriter. He can learn any song his student wants to learn and can help them sing it, play it... or even both at the same time!

In between performing in 38 countries on cruise ships, tours, and international tours, Keaton would play for kids birthday parties and music classes. His lesson style is fun, engaged, patient, and about always keeping it positive. Music is so much fun and sharing that with each other is the best part of the lesson. Even if it turns into a singing/dance party for a bit! Keaton will have your student having the best time of their lives and learning music at the same time.
