Hi! My name is Charissa. You may have seen me as the Elsa understudy in Disney's Frozen on Broadway, as Nicola in the Kinky Boots first national tour, in Jesus Christ Superstar Live on NBC, Amazon Prime's Marvelous Mrs Maisel, or in the original Off-Broadway cast of Heathers as Veronica. Clearly, I LOVE performing, and I love sharing that joy with young people. I received my degree from UCLA's school of Theater, Film, and Television, and I teach a variety of subjects, including: Musical Theater performance, dance, audition skills and preparation, theater games, and singing! I love working wiht littles to plant the seeds of creativity, and I love teaching bigger kids to help them grow in their interests & passions! My main goal in teaching students is always to build their confidence, exercise their imaginations, and expand their idea of what's possible for them to accomplish both artistically and in the world at large. I believe we can do anything we set our minds to, and we might as well enjoy the process as we go. I can't wait to share the joy of the arts with your children, and inspire them to be more confident and creative versions of themselves!
