Hi, my name is Nathalie Robbins,

I'm so glad you're here! Since I was a child I've had an affinity for color, pattern and design. Several years after graduating college I moved to San Francisco and completed a 9 month vocational training program in fabric design. Those life changing months are what launched me into a life long career as a surface pattern designer. For over 25 years I've been designing and selling patterns to leading apparel and home goods brands. One of my first and very exciting design projects was working side by side with Pottery Barn to help them launch their first Pottery Barn Kids collection and catalogue. More recently, I’ve stepped back from digital design and have taken a deep dive into Fiber Arts. I am now passionately designing and making rugs and fine art pieces from wool, fabric and thread.

An artistic journey has no limits, its a playground of expression through, texture, medium, composition and so much more. All throughout my career, I've been teaching art to young and old. Whether in a museum or school, my goal is to create a colorful learning environment where students can find their own artistic language. I’m forever researching and introducing new mediums and techniques to show my students the endless possibilities of artistic expression.
